Soccer Series Information

The PepsiCo Showdown Soccer Series is a high school soccer tournament - the largest in the United States. During the 2017-18 school year, it features freshmen, sophomore and varsity tournaments in the following locations: Chicago Girls (Spring), Chicago Boys (Fall), Phoenix Boys & Girls (Winter), Dallas Boys & Girls (Winter) and Miami Boys & Girls (Winter). Each varsity team is seeded and placed in a single-elimination winner’s bracket. College coaches and media love that they can come to one site and see thousands of prep players from different communities and schools at one site on back-to-back Saturdays unlike any other high school tournament in the country. Underclassmen tournaments feature group play a part of the PepsiCo Showdown Series Cup.

Remaining 2017-18 School Year: Chicago Girls - April 7-14. 

2018-19 School Year: Chicago Boys - Sept. 8-15; Miami Boys & Girls - Dec. 1-8; Dallas Boys & Girls - Feb. 23-March 2; Phoenix TBA; Chicago Girls - April 6-13. Chicago junior high test league - Aug. 25-Sept. 29. 

Contest Times: The locations and pairings for each round will be posted on the tournament website for all to see. The tournament seeding will be announced at 8 p.m. on the Monday before all Opening Days (all teams at same site on Saturday Opening Day). The host school determines the start time for games it hosts during the week.

Overtime Scoring: State-series shootout will be used for ALL PepsiCo Showdown games. If the game goes to a shootout, it will count as a win or loss toward a team’s overall record. There are no ties in the PepsiCo Showdown.
